DICS is the validator behind the Degenerate Ape Academy. Stake SOL with the apes, or hold dicSOL and stay liquid. Commission feeds the Academy.

Two ways in.
Both put your SOL to work on DICS. Pick liquid if you want to keep it moving, native if you want it parked.
Liquid
- Swap SOL → dicSOL in one transaction
- Trade or move it whenever you like
- Holding it enters you in the Draw
- Small swap fee and slippage
Native
- A classic stake account, your keys
- Earns from the next epoch
- Unstaking cools down for ~1 epoch
- No token, not in the Draw
dicSOL
1 dicSOL = 1.1396 SOL
Deposit SOL, get dicSOL. The SOL is delegated to DICS and the rewards compound into the exchange rate every epoch, so the number above climbs over time. Move it, trade it, and swap back whenever you want.

The Draw is in detention.
Hold dicSOL and you're in. Each epoch a slice of validator rewards feeds the pot, and your principal never leaves your wallet. Some epochs nobody wins, so the pot rolls over and gets bigger. It's built so last-minute whales can't game it. Back after recess.
- Hold dicSOL. That's your ticket.
- No-loss. Principal is never at stake.
- Validator rewards feed the pot each epoch.
- No winner some epochs. The pot rolls over.
Commission feeds the Academy.
The Degen DAOO has taken the reins of the Degenerate Ape Academy, and DICS is the engine that powers it forward. The 5% commission goes straight back into the ecosystem:

- Degenerate Drop Bears
- Degenerate Drop Bear Elders
- The trait swap economy

Can DICS take my SOL?
No. With native staking the stake account stays under your wallet's stake and withdraw authority — the validator only gets your SOL's voting weight. With dicSOL, your SOL sits in the Sanctum stake pool delegated to DICS, and you can swap back whenever you like.
Liquid or native — which one?
Liquid (dicSOL) if you want a token you can move, trade or use elsewhere, plus a shot at the Draw. Native if you want the plain, no-token setup and don't mind a cooldown to unstake.
When do I start earning?
Native stake activates at the next epoch boundary (an epoch is roughly two days) and earns from then on. dicSOL earns through its exchange rate, which steps up every epoch.
How do I get out?
Native: deactivate the stake account in your wallet, wait for the epoch to end, then withdraw. dicSOL: swap it back to SOL on Jupiter or Sanctum, straight away.
Is there a minimum?
0.01 SOL. Keep a little extra SOL in your wallet for network fees.
